Mold Remediation

This home suffered extensive damage from a failed hot water heater while the owners were away on vacation. Although the water heater was located in the unfinished basement the entire home was affected due to secondary moisture. Mold growth is a dangerous condition in any home or building. One area where mold often goes unnoticed is underneath carpeting or other flooring materials. When the flooring is removed, mold is then found growing on the wooden subfloor. The hardwood floors on the first were removed as they had buckled beyond repair. The subfloor was then dried to allow from mold and stain remover to be applied.
